Before President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, were ruling the White House, the pair were just two young lawyers from Chicago, trying to make a difference in the world. In Southside With You, which credits John Legend as its executive producer, Tika Sumpter and Parker Sawyers step into the shoes of Barack Obama and Michelle Robinson, in a film inspired by their epic, romantic first date on a hot summer day in 1989 Chicago. The movie opened to great reviews at the Sundance Film Festival, so watch the trailer above before it hits theaters this August!
