5 Reasons Lemonade Is the Best Beyoncé Album to Date

As April comes to a close, the world has been blessed with a beautiful gift. Beyoncé released her new, meaningful album, Lemonade, which is jam-packed with empowering, badass lyrics, plenty of tiny, profound details, and a veritable gold mine of artistic references. Lemonade isn't just another Beyoncé album, though, in my opinion. This project has soul, integrity, and power. I couldn't help but close out my own Saturday night viewing of the HBO special with a certain sense of awe. To me, it seemed complete, whole, fully formed. Even though it's been just a few days, I'm starting to suspect it's my favorite Beyoncé project yet.

Wedding Music Ideas: Cake Cutting Songs

A wedding needs a lot of different music for different parts of the event. But as you're planning your own tunes and checking off the song for the first dance, father-daughter dance, walking down the aisle, and walking back up the aisle, don't forget that there are some fun wedding traditions that you may also want to have a song for. One of those is the cake cutting, where a new married couple can shove cake in each other's faces (or, you know, just feed each other politely), so why not pick a cute jam to go along with it? We have a selection of 25 songs that make the cut. Spoiler alert: there are a lot of songs that are about sugar and being sweet. Because cake.

Ranking the Grey's Anatomy Finales, From Least to Most Painful

You know the pain scale the doctors use at hospitals? Where they ask you to rate your pain from one to 10, with one being the least painful and 10 being the most? Well, it turns out it's the perfect model when it comes to Grey's Anatomy finales. As you might recall, last year's season 11 finale is remarkably light, probably to make up for the fact that Derek Shepherd dies just a few episodes before. Now, as we draw closer to the 12th finale, we're not exactly sure what to expect. All we have is a cryptic "wet" Instagram from Ellen Pompeo. To help us prepare for potentially rough waters ahead, we're ranking all of the previous season finales on that famous medical scale, from least to most painful. Keep reading as we assess our Grey's Anatomy pain levels from the past 11 season finales.

Netflix Is Bringing Us a Brand New Season of Wet Hot American Summer

Make it your beeswax to have access to Netflix by 2017, because Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later is on the way. The streaming service announced that the team behind the original film and last year's series reboot is returning for a new season. As the title suggests, this one will pick up 10 years after the events of that fateful Summer, when the counselors reunite to see the people they have "blossomed into." (Ben's words, not mine.) Here's what we know about the new season so far, and once you're up to speed, remember why the first movie is so good.

This Viral Video Explains the Difference Between Asian and American Beauty Trends

Americans say they draw inspiration from Asia when it comes to beauty trends (such as cushion compacts and sheet eye masks), but when we actually do our makeup, the differences are vast. For instance, women in Japan and Korea are more likely to wear bright-pink blush, whereas Northern American and European women are still loving their bronzy, contoured cheeks. Makeup artist Lisa Eldridge is qualified to break down the distinctions between these two parts of the world because she was the former creative director of Asian brand Shiseido and currently holds the same title at French company Lancôme. In this video, she explains how both sides of the world typically do their makeup so you can copy either style at home!

Lennon & Maisy Somehow Managed to Make "Lean On" Dreamy and Just Plain Gorgeous

Their characters may be at odds on Nashville at the moment, but Lennon & Maisy are still singing sweet songs together in real life. Check it out, and watch their most memorable performances on Nashville!

Yes, It Really Has Been 25 Years Since Amy Grant Released "Baby Baby"

We always love a good throwback jam - which is, of course, why we made this epic playlist of '90s dance songs - but sometimes it's best when you mix the past and the present. Our point brings us to quintessential '90s jam "Baby Baby," released by Amy Grant in 1991. In honor of the song's 25th anniversary, Grant has released a new version of the song featuring Tori Kelly, and it's going to bring all the nostalgia rushing right back to you. Listen above, then keep the good times going by remembering all these classic movies from 20 years ago.

Glitter Tears Prove That Sadness Can Be Absolutely Stunning

Though glitter tears have made a runway debut, sometimes it takes a fashion-forward millennial celebrity to get a movement going. So was the case when Elle Fanning attended the Saint Laurent show in February with rock 'n' roll gunmetal glitter smudged under her eyes. The look was badass, and it definitely inspired those gifted with outstanding makeup skills to copy it on Instagram.

The glitter tears fad marries two trends: extreme sparkles and grunge beauty. Women and men are showing it off in every which way - from pairing it with rainbow hair to wearing it as a soft shimmer. It's an exciting time for beauty with Halloween ideas seeming to creep into everyday wear. Keep reading to view some of our favorite glitter tears executions from the Instagram community.

What's in Cersei's Prophecy on Game of Thrones?

This week's season six premiere of Game of Thrones may not have resurrected Jon Snow quite yet, but dear God is it amazing to have the show back. As with all the season premieres, lots of seeds are planted about the season - and as with every single episode of Game of Thrones, characters reference past events that you need to be able to recall if you want to get everything that's going on. One of those references comes from Cersei, just after she finds that her daughter Myrcella is dead, poisoned by Ellaria Sand.

Cersei mentions the prophecy of a witch she'd been told years ago: "She promised me three children . . . she promised me they'd die," she says, and of course, it wasn't all that long ago that we actually saw this scene on the show; it happens in the season five premiere. Here's the clip where a young Cersei visits Maggy the frog, the fortune teller in question.

"Everything she said came true . . . ," Cersei says this week to Jaime, her beloved brother and father of her three children - two of whom are now indeed dead. "This prophecy, it's fate." So let's go over exactly what the witch did prophecize - including the one thing that didn't make it into the show but now we must wonder whether will also play out.

1. "You'll never wed the prince, you'll wed the king."

Did it come true? Yes. Cersei marries King Robert Baratheon and not "the prince" - Rhaegar Targaryen.

2. "You'll be queen, for a time. Then comes another, younger, more beautiful, to cast you down and take all you hold dear."

Did it come true? Yes, though the younger, more beautiful queen has been questioned. Margaery would come to mind first, as the young queen who is married to King Tommen, but it's also assumed to be Daenerys Targaryen, the queen I think we are all hoping to bring about the end of the Lannisters.

3. "The king will have 20 children and you will have three. Gold will be their crowns . . . gold their shrouds."

Did it come true? Mostly yes. The king did have multiple illegitimate children without the help of Cersei, while Cersei bears just three: Joffrey, Myrcella, and Tommen - two of whom have already died. If this holds up, Tommen is the next to go.

But wait, there is one more piece to the prophecy in George R. R. Martin's books that did not make it into that scene in the show. The witch also tells Cersei: "And when your tears have drowned you, the Valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you." "Valonqar" means "little brother" in Valyrian - and if we are taking that literally, that means Tyrion . . . or Jaime, who is her twin but could technically be her "little brother." (That really makes the incest somehow even grosser, right?)

So there are still two pieces of the prophecy the witch predicted that we can look forward to (well, two if the show is going to resurface the Valonqar prediction): Tommen's imminent death and Cersei's murder at the hand of one of her brothers. Oh, unless Jaime's declaration in this week's episode comes true: "F*ck prophecy!"

The Game of Thrones Premiere Is Not the First Time We Saw Melisandre Without Her Necklace

This week's Game of Thrones season premiere let us in on a big secret: the "Red Woman," Melisandre, is actually hundreds of years old and conceals her true, extremely old form with magic. We have a lot of questions about Melisandre and that jarring final scene, but it seems pretty clear that her necklace - which we have seen glow red - is key to making her appear young and beautiful. While this was a shock for just about every Game of Thrones watcher, there is actually a theory going around that Melisandre may have shown off her real form to another character - we just didn't know it.

Vanity Fair points out that Stannis Baratheon's wife, Selyse, comes to talk to Melisandre while she is in the bath in episode seven of season four. You can watch the scene here, but essentially, she is in the bath naked, as one usually is. Naked as in, no glowing necklace, which is the accessory she removes this week to be Old Melisandre.

So there are two possibilites here: either the necklace is not the source of Melisandre's age-cloaking, or as these Redditors have theorized, Selyse can see Melisandre in her true form. The theory essentially states that Selyse's expression comes from seeing Melisandre as she really is, and the only reason she doesn't freak out is that she is so faithful in the Lord of the Light and Melisandre's power. Plus, this is a scene that does not happen in the books, and it's when Melisandre also takes the time to explain powers, potions, and tricks that she uses on men.

Glenn's Death in The Walking Dead Comic Books Is More Disgusting Than You Could Possibly Imagine

A few spoilers about the show below! Tread lightly!

The Walking Dead writers chose to end their season six finale with a massive, frustrating cliffhanger that deprived fans of the knowledge of who the show's newest villain, Negan, brutally murdered in the final seconds of the episode. Although they purposefully kept the ending supervague and there are a few options as to who it could've been, a lot of signs point to it being Glenn, who died in that same scene in the comic books. Since the fact that we won't find out who Negan kills on the show until TWD returns six months from now makes us want to bash our TVs to bits with Lucille, we've decided to channel our anger into studying every bit of Glenn's iconically gruesome death from the comics. See it in all of its grisly glory below, and when you need a break from weeping, check out the funniest things the show's walkers have secretly been thinking.

Glitter Roots Is Officially the Hottest Trend of Festival Season

If you thought the glitter roots trend of the holiday 2015 season was 15-minutes-of-fame fad, you were wrong. The style, which involves covering your roots or part with microsparkly particles, is taking off for festival season. And Hollywood It stylist Riawna Capri is leading the charge.

Riawna shared two images of glitter roots hair she created at Coachella 2016, and we're betting many women will copy this look for Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Governors Ball, Burning Man, and other upcoming Summer festivals. What is cool about glitter roots is that it looks amazing on all hair colors from electric blue to brunette. If you want to learn how to do it without creating a huge mess, watch this video, and keep reading to see more images of the festive style.

Talking to Shep Rose About Southern Charm's "Cynical" Third Season

Of my many guilty pleasures on TV, Southern Charm has to be at the top of the list. Bravo's standout reality show catalogues the lives of the rich and (locally) famous residents of Charleston, SC. We're knee-deep in season three, and things are getting pretty dramatic - and by "dramatic," I mean "awesome." At the end of season two, we got the chance to chat with star Shep Rose, and he was kind enough to speak to us again about the new episodes. You may think producers blow up fights and exaggerate comments, but according to Rose, it's quite the opposite. Here's what he had to say about behind-the-scenes drama and what to expect next on the show!

POPSUGAR: What has it been like from seasons one to three in terms of getting recognized more on the street?

Shep Rose: Last year I had people pull up to my house and knock on the door, which is sort of creepy. They'd be like, "You're from the show, can we take a picture?" which is unsettling. Still not that big of a deal because I can handle it . . . It's been interesting, but I thought you were going somewhere else with that question and I'm happy to entertain what I thought you were going to say.

PS: Sure!

SR: How has the mood on the set from season to season developed when we're filming, which I thought was very interesting as well. First season obviously was very new and a shock to the system and you'd just do what you were told because you didn't know and you were trying to make a good show. You just figured that the producers and the crew knew what they were doing - which they did. And so it was kind of a blur and a fun novelty. Second season is definitely more collaborative in the way that you're like, "OK, I know how this works and I know how it worked last year," and you're coming up with things to do, but you're aware of what makes a good show or might make it a little better. So it was a little more collaborative and you felt more invested in it. And this year, man, everybody's jaded. You know how the puppet strings work, you know what they're trying to get at, and you're trying to resist. Everybody was cynical; there was yelling and screaming amongst the cast and the crew. I think it is going to be a little darker because I remember not having as much fun as the first two seasons. You never know and that's probably why you see these housewives - and, frankly, us - get paid more each season because you're like, "I don't want to f*ckin' do that again," you know . . . I definitely got angry a couple times on set this year. I'm sure I could tell my side of the story and someone would agree and the producer can tell theirs and people would agree with them. And in the end, everyone was friends and everybody was cool, but it was interesting to observe.

PS: Yeah, I like to call that the Jersey Shore Effect. Each season you get pushed further and further for more drama, and I imagine that makes for a difficult set.

SR: Yeah, I'm a purveyor of comedy in my mind so when drama is suggested I'm like, "I see what you want, how can I make it so it's not embarrassing for me?" I'm not a dramatic person. I can get pissed off sometimes, but it's not necessarily a side I celebrate.

PS: Is there anybody in particular on the show who gets a bad rap?

SR: No, no, f*ck no. Bravo is too nice. I get mad at them, and I'm like "Ya'll are too nice to us, man." I've said it before and I'll say it again: Craig, last year, if they'd showed what really went down, like the full Monty, it would be way more eye-opening than it appeared. And me and Cameran's sarcastic and somewhat critical views on him would be way more justifiable. It is frustrating in that regard, and I feel like I'm hating on Craig and I'm not. He'd agree with me.

PS: While they may be soft on most of you, Thomas and Kathryn don't come off looking too great this season.

SR: Yeah, I mean you don't know the half of it . . . You couldn't invent characters like that. You just couldn't. I'm fascinated by them and am like, "thank God they exist." Like I don't really rip on them, or try not to, but it makes my "comic relief persona" way more defined and easy to handle on my part.

PS: How do you deal with haters? Do you even hate haters?

SR: I have such a weird thing about Twitter. I follow some really funny people, and to me it's just a simple outlet for comedy. When people get on it and get nasty towards me - which is rare, and especially rare when the show isn't airing - you can get these trolls that come at you. It's all like first or second episode, when they see something they don't like, and they're on somebody's side, and it appears that you're not on their side, which is outrageous. Anyway, so I fight back. I generally believe that I'm smarter than anyone who would go on Twitter and attack someone that they don't know. I fight back with humor and levity as much as I can and make them feel stupid and belittle them, because I really believe that if you don't punch a bully in the nose, they'll continue to do so. Now, what I've learned is if it's just too much and the avalanche is too big, I can't fight it. But I'll fight back, man, like I know you're not supposed to, but I just can't imagine - like I follow Chrissy Teigen as well and she fights back. And I'm like, "Good for you." Be pugnacious; don't be a doormat.

PS: Getting back to the show, we're seeing you and Cameran going into business together with real estate. Is that something we're going to see more of?

SR: Yeah. It's so funny, I don't want to reveal it but I mean it's basically a disaster. The funniest disaster you'll ever watch. Please stay tuned. I wanted to be her secretary or something but what ensues is just way more than we would've expected in terms of how much fun we had and giving each other a hard time.

PS: How would you say the show has worked for or against you with your dating life?

SR: I mean for me, probably, definitely. But then again probably like a really classy girl might be repelled by the whole thing. And I understand, really, I totally do. Maybe I'm not deserving of a classy girl. But yeah, things are easier, but you know I'm 36. I don't really need like a bunch of fangirls coming home with me all the time. That's not what rings my bell. Like in my 20s, I did the whole hook-up-as-a-badge-of-honor lifestyle and it's not really how my philosophy lies these days.

PS: Do you see yourself settling down and wanting to have a serious relationship?

SR: Yeah, I guess, I hope.

PS: I think a Shep "serious relationship" storyline would be pretty awesome for the show.

SR: Oh, yeah they would love it too.

PS: It's interesting because all the guys in the show are in different states in their relationship. JD's like the consummate, married guy. Craig, who was the wild child, is now (or about to) give a promise ring to a girl.

SR: Yeah, oh my God, a promise ring. Can you believe it?

PS: He said he didn't like the term "promise ring."

SR: Last time I heard promise ring was in Saved by the Bell - I think Zach gave one to Kelly.

PS: Listen, that was a very special episode.

SR: That was a very special one. But, listen, it's textbook Craig. He's just so quirky like that.

42 Reasons It's OK to Be Attracted to Jamie Dornan When He Plays Total Psychos

There's a reason Jamie Dornan is everyone's favorite Irishman, no matter how many creepy hotties he plays. After small roles in films and on TV (like Once Upon a Time), Dornan scored his breakout part on the Irish crime drama The Fall. If you've watched any of the two seasons on Netflix, you know that he plays Paul Spector, a dedicated family man who happens to get his rocks off by brutalizing young women at night. After he was selected to play Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey, we found out that while his character may have some kinks, he's no killer. Still, both Paul and Christian manage to be heart-stoppingly sexy, despite being borderline disturbing - full-on disturbing, in Paul's case. In honor of his birthday, here are all the times Dornan's characters are both somewhat terrifying and ridiculously hot at the same time. Pro tip: you can tell them apart because Christian is clean-shaven and Paul has a beard.

10 Tarte Products You Need to Add to Your Stash

Over the years, I've watched with great interest as Tarte Cosmetics evolved from a one-product powerhouse brand to a dominating force in the beauty industry. Founder Maureen Kelly debuted the iconic Cheek Stain blush in 1999 on counters of the New York City department store Henri Bendel. Now, Tarte sells dozens of products around the world through retailers like Sephora, QVC, and Ulta.

While Tarte has expanded dramatically, one feature has remained the same throughout the company's history: dedication to good-for-you ingredients. Kelly calls the line "eco-chic" and has ensured that each product is paraben-, phthalate-, gluten-, and cruelty-free. The formulas also boast maracuja oil, Amazonian clay, and other naturally-derived ingredients that make each item potent with skin care benefits as well as pigmented. Double Cleansing Is as Good For Your Beautyblender as It Is For Your Skin

We adore our Beautyblenders, but because of our neurotic tendencies, we get frustrated that they never seem to get completely clean. No matter how thoroughly we massage the little sponge, it still holds on to foundation residue. Thanks to one Imgur user, we know that our makeup isn't completely penetrating our favorite beauty tool, so the damage is purely superficial. But we still want the Beautyblender to look as clean as it did the day we first got it!

Celebrity makeup artist Priscilla Ono, who uses her Beautyblenders on clients like Amber Rose and Jasmine Sanders (also known as Golden Barbie, one of the stars of Kylie Jenner's lip gloss video), revealed her secrets to completely purifying the sponges: double cleansing. Many women wash their face twice - once to remove makeup and dirt, then again to detoxify and treat skin. This method works the same way!

"I feel like hands get pruny when washing Beautyblenders," she remarked. "This method saves time and pruniness!" She fills up a bowl with the brand's liquid cleanser ($18), then leaves her sponges to soak for 20 minutes. Ono believes that this pre-treating method really targets stains that can form after using the product with deep foundation shades. Afterwards, she uses Blendercleanser Solid ($16) to finish the job.

If you're afraid that all this washing will cause unnecessary wear and tear on your sponge, don't be. It's letting bacteria fester in your Beautyblender that will lead to its demise. That, and using alternative cleansers. Ono recommends sticking strictly to the aforementioned Beautyblender-brand cleansers. "When you wash with a different soap, it rips sooner," insisted Ono.

While it's unclear why it could cause the product to rip, one theory is that other soap formulas are more abrasive. Surfactants (ingredients that create lather) can be stripping on skin or hair, so it would make sense that they could cause the deterioration of your sponge. However, both Beautyblender's solid and liquid cleansers are low-suds and soy-based, meaning they work very gently on the little eggs.

Still nervous about double-cleansing? Try soaking spots with baby oil to lift stains, then washing your sponge with the brand's solid cleanser.

If You Blinked, You Probably Missed This Insane Game of Thrones Connection

It feels like so long ago that Arya Stark, still tomboyish and innocent, met for "dancing lessons" with Syrio Forel in King's Landing. Since her last water dancing (Braavosi sword fighting) lesson with Syrio, Arya has traveled across Westeros and beyond, eventually ending up at the House of Black and White in her teacher's home country of Braavos. The Game of Thrones season six premiere features Arya, broken, blind, and alone, being beaten on the streets by a fellow acolyte of the Faceless God - yet there's an intriguing connection between her past and present that you probably missed.

View post on imgur.com

Before the Waif (Arya's fellow servant at the House of Black and White) begins the beating, she twirls two wooden staffs exactly like Syrio Forel twirled his wooden "blades" during his water dancing lessons with Arya. Noted by an observant Reddit user, this makes total sense - Syrio hails from Braavos, the home of the Faceless God, where the traditional fighting style happens to be the water dance.

While this similar fighting move could be purely coincidental, many believe that this could be a deliberate hint about Syrio's true identity. His most famous line ("What do we say to the God of Death? Not today!") explicitly references the deity whom the Faceless Men serve, and Syrio's death is never actually shown on screen. Could he, in fact, be a Faceless Man? We know that these servants of Death can change their appearance to do his bidding, so it's not out of the question that Syrio could simply appear as the Waif. If this is the case, these beatings are more than a cruel punishment being paid to Arya for stealing from the God of Death . . . they're Syrio continuing his lessons with her, teaching her how to fight with brand-new obstacles.

Even if this theory doesn't prove true, the similarity between Syrio and the Waif's fighting styles is a sweet wink back to Arya's happier past. Since she walked away from her lessons with Syrio bold and independent, this new stage of her training may impart even more skills and passion that'll allow her to finally check those names off her kill list!

Teacher of the "Sasha Bun" Classroom Speaks Out After Her Story Goes Viral

Many women of color face discrimination simply because of their hair's natural texture, sometimes being told that the way their strands grow out of their scalps is "unprofessional." Unfortunately, this prejudice can start far too young, affecting elementary school students as well as adults. So when first-grade teacher Alexondra Purnomo observed a student being bullied because of her natural hair, she and her fellow teachers changed the conversation in the classroom - and the result is truly inspirational.

Purnomo teaches in Rome, Italy, to a class of predominantly white Italian students. Sasha, a new black pupil, recently came to school without braids for the first time. "Some of the kids made fun of her for her short hair, so she started wearing a Winter hat to school and refused to take it off," she shared in a Facebook post. Purnomo, colleague Veruska Meloni, and their students discussed how everyone has different characteristics that make them special.

As a result, Sasha finally took off her hat, revealing a little bun. "The other teacher and I both put our hair in buns on the top of our heads saying it was the 'Sasha bun,'" Purnomo said. All of her students - girls and boys alike - ended up wanting their own topknot. The children all styled their hair to match Sasha's and took the above photo.

"We were able to come together as a class and bring a smile to Sasha's face after a long, tough week," Purnomo stated. "It gave me chills to see 19 kids come together to help one fellow student."

Not only are we impressed with how quickly Purnomo and Meloni reacted to the class's bullying (where were they when we were in school?!), but we're also inspired by how her students reacted. If adults start having these conversations about acceptance, perhaps we will live in a culture that embraces beauty diversity sooner than we had expected.

UPDATE, 4/8/16: Purnomo reported that Sasha returned to school wearing the Winter hat. However, after classmates cheered her on saying, "Ma Sasha, sei bella," ("But Sasha, you're beautiful!"), she removed it and showed off her hair the rest of the day. Additionally, several of the other girls came to class sporting the Sasha bun. Too sweet!

UPDATE, 4/13/16: Purnomo exclusively reached out to POPSUGAR to share her reaction to her viral Facebook post.

Wow! I'm so grateful and excited that the Sasha bun got so much attention! Never would I have thought my simple Facebook post would have gone viral. I've even had strangers message me thanking me for sharing this story.

For me this story is important because I come from a biracial family (Italian-American/Indonesian). I was fortunate enough to grow up around people who always accepted me for who I was. And that's exactly what I want for my students.

I went from teaching many years in the South Bronx, New York, where the majority of the school population was black/Hispanic to now teaching mostly Caucasian students. No matter what situation you find yourself in in life, there is always someone who is "different." These differences are what make each individual unique and special.

I really hope the Sasha bun sparks a deeper conversation both in schools and at home. I think it's also important to understand the difference between teasing and bullying. Teasing happens when kids don't understand something that is different from them. They giggle without realizing that it hurts someone else's feelings. When they don't learn about diversity, then it can turn into bullying. That's why it's up to us educators (and humans) to teach children awareness of this diversity. The earlier we teach that being different is what makes each of us special, the more natural it becomes in making our world a more tolerant and accepting place.

We were lucky enough to have our story heard by many but I know that many of my fellow teachers out there are doing just the same in their own classrooms. Trying to make a positive impact is why we do what we do!

Thanks again, Emily, for sharing our story!

Proof That Lion Babe Is About to Be Your Next Big Beauty Crush

If you've yet to hear of the neo-soul music duo Lion Babe, it's time you got acquainted - because they're on the cusp of becoming a household name. Jillian Hervey is the pair's electrifying frontwoman, whose sound is like a deeper, smokier Corinne Bailey Rae. Hervey also is one of the stunning new faces of MAC Cosmetics' recent campaign Future Forward, for which she created a shade of Liquid Last Eyeliner ($21) that applies (and shimmers like) molten gold. When we sat down in MAC Cosmetics' Union Square store in New York City, she spilled on her beauty style, greatest influences, and more.

As it turns out, picking what product to design with MAC was an easy choice for Hervey. "My eyes are naturally almond-shaped and I do like to accentuate them," she explained. "And the gold . . . I love to play with metallics on stage." Another main component of her performance look is her incredible thick, long, wavy strands, which she whips around as she sings at festivals like Coachella.

However, while her hair is rumored to be the catalyst behind the group's name, that's not quite true. Fans had been referring to her as a lion since she had decided to embrace her natural texture and had dyed it her signature honeyed-blond hue for the first time. But from there, Hervey found a deeper inspiration. "It was more [about] the spirit of a lion," she said.

A curly lion mane like hers is even more susceptible to damage after coloring as textured hair is naturally more brittle, so she strategizes to keep it healthy. She tries to space out her dye appointments as much as possible and relies on keratin treatments for strength. "I actually color and then do keratin, because it'll really just seal everything," Hervey remarked.
