If you feel almost impossibly inspired while watching the Olympic Games, you shouldn't be surprised. The fierce determination of every athlete motivates you to push yourself to succeed, no matter what aspect of your life you apply these standards to. The incredibly fit bodies make you want to hop off the couch and start doing crunches. That opening ceremony fuels an unimaginable wanderlust (there are so many countries to explore!). But the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, will inspire you in a more unexpected way: to switch up your beauty routine.
In honor of this year's sportswomen, superstar makeup artist and Procter & Gamble's Global Creative Design Director Pat McGrath designed jaw-dropping makeup looks using Covergirl products for them to wear. The athletes (and their families!) will be able to test the three styles out at the P&G Beauty and Grooming Salon in Rio's Olympic Village.
We're particularly entranced by the above "Brazilian Summer" creation, which übertalented hairstylist and makeup artist Gabriel Samra brought to life. (Look closely - it's a subtle shout-out to the host country's flag!) Samra, who counts stunning Brazilian model Adriana Lima among his clients, provided his top tips for achieving this sexy smoky eye at home.
