A Fourth Star Trek Film Is Officially in the Works, and Chris Hemsworth Is Returning!

Days ahead of the release of Star Trek Beyond, Paramount Pictures has confirmed that a fourth Stark Trek film is in the works. This time, they're bringing back Chris Hemsworth as Captain Kirk's (Chris Pine) father, George Kirk. The rest of the cast is expected to return, with the exception of Anton Yelchin, who unexpectedly died in June. A director hasn't been confirmed yet, but J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay will write the screenplay and J.J. Abrams and Lindsey Weber will produce. Stay tuned for more details and a release date!
