15 Cruelty-Free Products You Can Now Buy at This Major Millennial Chain Store

You can now get your perfect LBD (little boho dress) and a side of vegan skin care and organic makeup, too. Clothing and accessories brand Free People has been a go-to spot for finding a breezy top for a music festival or a festive frock for your birthday party. You can finally score beauty (hair, skin, body, and nails) and wellness products online at freepeople.com and soon in Free People boutiques (beginning with Pennsylvania's King of Prussia Mall in October).

The assortment was curated by senior beauty merchant and founder of Shen Beauty Jessica Richards, and she focused on curating products that are organic, vegan, and entirely cruelty-free. Expect labels like RMS, Juice Beauty, and Eyeko with prices ranging from $6-$150.

"Urban and Anthropologie have done incredibly well with beauty," she told WWD. "Everyone is launching beauty, but I don't think anyone has done it with a natural, organic and wellness focus. Not that everything will be natural and organic, but it will be heavily that way, and nothing will be tested on animals. Free People has the opportunity to do beauty very differently with the wellness aspect."

There are even plans for Free People to eventually make its own namesake brand. "It would be really creating our own formulations under the Free People brand," she said in WWD. "I'm not going to go to some lab and say do six lipsticks in the same formula everybody else has."
