Freeform's Summer lineup is basically one long list of scary stories that you can tell your friends while sitting around a campfire. In addition to returning favorites like Pretty Little Liars, new shows like Dead of Summer and Guilt have especially caught our attention. While Dead of Summer deals with strange things that happen at a rural Summer camp, Guilt is terrifying for a whole different reason: it appears to be based on a true story. The show follows an American student whose Irish roommate is murdered while they study abroad in London. Sound familiar? Back in 2007, an American student named Amanda Knox suddenly became a household named after her roommate, Meredith Kercher, was found brutally murdered in their apartment in Perugia, Italy.
