In case you weren't aware, direwolves are a vital part of the mythology on Game of Thrones. Introduced all the way back in season one, there was one wolf for each of the six Stark children: Bran, Robb, Arya, Sansa, Rickon, and Jon Snow. Since then, we've seen them play their important roles in various ways: they've been protectors, allies, and potential vessels for warging.
